Fresh from his first ever Pro Lite win in Reno, Kyle Hart is in the winner’s circle again after Round 7 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Race Series in Tooele, UT. Hart, just turned 17, grabbed a 3rd place finish last Saturday in a come from behind run that overcame racers Sheldon Creed and RJ Anderson. Finishing behind Brian Deegan and Ryan Beat, Hart stood at his second podium this season. Overall, the performance was a hard fought race that overcame fierce competition and challenging course conditions.

Last year in round 7 at Miller Motorsports Park, Kyle just missed out on a podium spot finishing up in 4th in the Pro Lite division. This just may have been one of the things spurring him on to push hard for a top spot this time around. Couple that with the support and backing of his team and father, veteran driver Marty Hart, Kyle was poised to move up through the field and in the last lap to take over Sheldon Creed on one of the final turns and beat out RJ Anderson in a sprint to the finish line. With racing as exciting and unpredictable as that of short course, it is clear to see why drivers like Kyle and Marty as well as the entire LOORRS events are growing every round in popularity and fandom.

Rounds 9 & 10 are set for August 1st and 2nd at the Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA. Both Kyle and Marty will go under the lights in these two night races to try and move up in the rankings. With the points standings of the Pro 2 and Pro Lite divisions growing closer and closer to the end of the season, it will take precision of execution and a high degree of racing skill to break into the top rankings. Kyle will be looking to achieve another outstanding performance in California. Marty will also be in the hunt to take some of the spotlight as he looks to repeat his Pro 2 2nd and 1st place performances from last year at Glen Helen. So get ready San Bernardino because Team ReadyLIFT is coming.
